Can I use ALEX products for wood floors to clean furniture? Should I use a special rag or cloth?

Yes, you can. Just like for wood floors, the formula in all ALEX cleaning products for wood has been designed specifically to take care of delicate surfaces such as parquetry, floorboards, hardwood floors, furniture and other wood surfaces. To clean furniture all you need is a clean dry cloth.

What is the difference between ALEX Dust-Trap for Furniture and ALEX Furniture Cleaner?

ALEX Dust-Trap for Furniture makes cleaning easy and has a long-lasting effect; ALEX Furniture Cleaner cleans deeper and brings back the shine to your furniture.

What benefits does the serum in the ALEX furniture range offer?

The cosmetic ingredient, which contains three different natural wood extracts (red cedar, Arizona cypress and Amyris essential oil), revitalises and protects wood keeping your furniture as shiny as new.

How much surface can a bottle of ALEX wax cover?

Applied directly on the floor: 35-40 m2 per bottle

Are there any risks in using a product for laminate floors on a wood floor? (Or vice versa).

All ALEX products for wood and laminate floors have been specifically designed to clean and take care of delicate surfaces, therefore even if we recommend using the appropriate product for each type of floor, there is no risk.

 

After applying ALEX Self Shining Wax, the floor appears whitish and opaque. What should I do?

This happens when the product is not applied correctly. We recommend to dewax the floor (remove the wax) and wax it again applying a small amount of product, leaving a thin and uniform layer of wax.

What should I use to apply correctly ALEX self shining waxes?

ALEX self shining waxes, used directly on the floor or diluted, must be applied evenly and uniformly on the entire surface (especially if applied directly on the floor).

 

How do I dewax a waxed floor? (Remove the wax)

The best option is to use ammonia diluted in water (1:10 dilution), leave for 5 minutes (in the most opaque areas you can form little puddles), then mop the floor using clean water.

Are there any risks in using ALEX Spray Straight On for tiled floors on a laminate floor?

We do not recommend using ALEX Spray Straight On for tiled floors on delicate surfaces (wood and laminate floors).

What is the difference between ALEX Self Shining Wax and ALEX Shine Finish?

ALEX Self Shining waxes have been designed specifically to give a shinier finish and create a protective layer on surfaces. ALEX Shine Finish brings back the shine to floors previously waxed.

When I clean the floor with ALEX Spray Straight On, must I use a damp floor cloth?

To apply the product correctly this is not necessary.
